Please note: Pets like dogs lack specific liver enzymes and are extremely sensitive to essential oils. If used for pets, essential oils must be diluted at a very high ratio (typically below 0.5%–1%) or used via very gentle indirect diffusion. Ensure proper ventilation and allow pets the freedom to leave the space at any time. Therefore, when using essential oils, safety guidelines at least ten times stricter than those for humans must be followed.

- Leave a Door Ajar: When diffusing indoors, never keep your pet in a closed room. Always leave the door open so they have the freedom to leave if the scent is too strong.
- Observe Pet Signals: If your pet shows signs like frequent blinking, nose rubbing, sneezing, drooling, scratching at the floor, or restlessness, the concentration is too high or they dislike it. Stop using immediately and open windows for ventilation.
Application Methods
[Application Method 1: Space Diffuser / Ultrasonic Diffuser (Safest & Most Recommended)]This is the safest way to soothe your pet’s emotions (e.g., during thunderstorms, fireworks, or separation anxiety).
- Diffuser Dosage: Add only 1–2 drops of essential oil blend per 100ml–200ml water diffuser.
- Duration: Diffuse for 15–20 minutes per session, then turn it off to maintain a subtle fragrance. Do not diffuse continuously overnight or for several hours.
- Note: Never use waterless nebulizing diffusers or heated oil burners, as they are far too intense for pets.
[Application Method 2: Topical Massage Oil / Spray (Ultra-Low Concentration)]If you want to give your dog a gentle massage on their chest or behind their ears during a thunderstorm, the concentration must be kept below 0.5% (human daily usage is typically 2%–5%).
- Golden Dilution Ratio (0.5% Concentration):
Carrier Oil: Prepare 10 ml of pure plant-based carrier oil (unscented jojoba oil, sweet almond oil, or fractionated coconut oil is recommended).
Essential Oil Dosage: Add only 1 drop of essential oil blend. - How to Use: Pour 2–3 drops of the diluted massage oil onto your palm and rub your hands together briskly to warm the oil and let it slightly evaporate. Then, gently stroke your dog’s chest, back, or behind their ears with your lightly scented hands.
- Caution: Never apply to areas they can easily lick (such as front paws or mouth), and strictly avoid the eyes and genitals.
